The Freemasons annual Children’s Christmas party, held on the 1st Sunday in December, fell this year on Sunday 1^st December in Kings Park. Over 120 adults and children attended what was a great day of activities and festive atmosphere. The children were treated to face-painting, a Punch and Judy puppet performance plus novelty races and games, and a guest visit by Santa Claus with gifts in tow.

The Freemasons Children’s Christmas Party started in 2010 on the South Perth foreshore followed by a move to Whiteman Park in 2011, then finding its current home in Kings Park in 2013. 600 sausages and 20kg of sliced onions were on-hand to cater for the attendees in what would become a highlight in the Grand Lodge calendar.

The event is made possible by a core group of volunteers who over the years have donated their time, BBQs – even the food to ensure that all attending have an enjoyable time. We’d like to give a big thank you to all who help make the Children’s Christmas Party the success that it is.
