Before I offer you my thoughts on the Nature and Purpose of our institution, I want to make some comments regarding Freemasonry, or Masonry as we know it.  Our Freemasonry commenced with the formation of the UGLE in 1717, just over 300 years ago.  Our GLWA is now 123 years old.
